What a wonderful week at Ripona! It was so much fun seeing our scholars dress up, show their school spirit, and come to school ready to learn. Here are a few important updates and celebrations from this week:
📚 Attendance Matters!
We loved seeing our scholars participate in our Attendance Spirit Week and show their Mustang spirit!
While our attendance took a dip this week, our overall attendance for the week was 95.55%, compared to 96.54% last week. This is a decrease of 0.99 percentage points. Our overall attendance since the start of the school year is 96.41%.
While we took a little dip this week, I know our Mustangs will bounce back and be ready to show up, learn, and grow next week. Every day at school matters, and we appreciate your continued support in helping our scholars attend school every day!
🎭 Missoula Children’s Theatre — WOW!
WOW! Our scholars are amazing! They auditioned, learned their lines, practiced, and performed twice—all in one week! We are incredibly proud of the hard work, dedication, and courage they demonstrated.
A huge thank you to Ms. Winter for working alongside the Missoula Children’s Theatre company and helping make this experience possible for our scholars. And thank you to Mrs. Finley for sharing her musical talents and playing during the performances!

📸 Picture Day Make-Up
Missed Picture Day? No worries! Make-Up Picture Day will take place on Tuesday, October 13th. More information will be shared as we get closer to the date.
🚗 Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Parents, please help us keep our drop-off and pick-up lines moving safely and efficiently.
Please remain in your vehicle when dropping off or picking up your scholar. If your scholar needs assistance getting in or out of the vehicle, please park and walk your scholar to the gate.
Please also do not park in the middle of the parking lot or drop-off area. This creates congestion and makes it difficult for vehicles to move safely.
Thank you for being patient, attentive, and respectful of our parking lot procedures. Keeping our scholars safe is our top priority!

Completing this form helps ensure that Ripona receives the maximum funding available to support our scholars and school programs. Every completed form makes a difference!

There is still time to donate to our PFC Jog-A-Thon! If you haven't had a chance to donate yet, we would love your support.
Funds raised by our PFC go directly toward opportunities and resources for our scholars, including field trips, activities, awards, sports, and more!
📅 PFC Meeting – October 2
Our next PFC Meeting is October 2 at 6:00 PM in Room 9 at Ripona Academy. A virtual Zoom option will also be available, and the link will be shared separately.
