Dear Ripona Families,
What another great week to be a Mustang! We are proud of all the hard work, positive choices, and school spirit we continue to see across campus. As we head into the long weekend, here are a few important updates and celebrations:
📚 Attendance Matters!
Every school day is an opportunity to learn, grow, and connect! Regular attendance helps students stay caught up with their learning, build strong relationships with classmates and teachers, and develop the habits they need for success.
Our attendance this week was 96.08%, and our overall attendance for the school year is 97%. While we took a little dip this week, we know our Mustangs can bounce back!
We also have something exciting to celebrate—409 students earned their August Brag Tags! Way to go, Mustangs!
Let’s keep the momentum going and work toward our goal of Every Student, Every Day!
🚦 Safety Patrol Starts This Week!
Our Safety Patrol will begin this week! Please help us keep everyone safe by being extra careful and attentive when entering and exiting the school parking lot.
A few important reminders:
- The yellow curb is for students who are able to exit the vehicle and walk to the gate independently.
- If you would like to walk your student to the gate, please find an available parking spot, park your vehicle, and walk your child to the gate.
- Please do not leave your car unattended in the drop-off or pick-up line.

📖 Success Period Begins Next Week!
Our Success Period begins next week! Students will receive targeted intervention and additional support based on the specific skills they need to be successful.
A big thank you to our teachers and assistants for making this important support possible for our students. We appreciate all you do to help our Mustangs grow!

Did your student miss Picture Day? No worries! We will have a Picture Day Make-Up on October 13th. Be on the lookout for more information as we get closer to the date.

🏃Jog-A-Thon Is Coming!
Our Jog-A-Thon is coming up soon! This is a wonderful opportunity to support our students and our school.
Funds raised through the Jog-A-Thon help provide field trips, school activities, and much-needed items for our students. Your support makes a difference and helps create memorable experiences and opportunities for our Mustangs!
🍗 PFC Dine Out Night
Join us for a PFC Dine Out Night at Chick-fil-A on Tuesday, September 8th!
Enjoy dinner while supporting Ripona! A portion of the proceeds will help support our students and school through the PFC.
