Hello Ripona Families,
Please let me introduce myself as the next Principal of Ripona Elementary School. I am both excited and humbled by this opportunity to serve our students and families, and I have a clear vision for the future of Ripona Elementary. There is huge potential for success at Ripona, and we have the opportunity to do great things in the near future. We have the staff, technology, and infrastructure to truly be effective at serving our students and provide the highest possible level of instruction.
My wife and I moved to Ripon two years ago from the north state and we instantly fell in love with this city and local area. We currently live in Ripon with our six-year-old son and our three-year-old daughter, and we plan to be positive members of this great community for many years to come.
I have a bachelor's degree in business administration and a master's degree in education with an emphasis in learning and technology. Before my position as Principal at Ripona I taught 6th - 8th grades for several years in another district, and taught 7th grade here at Ripona last year. My wife Andrea and I have both been in education for many years, and we are looking forward to watching our children grow in this community and attend Ripon schools.
I have always believed in the power of communication and human connection, so I encourage you to reach out to me early and often with any questions or concerns you may have moving forward. We are currently living in extraordinary times for education so please know that I am here to support you and your students any way I can. School will look a little different this year, but please believe me when I tell you we are all in this together.
